Previous research by Roger Boulet provided a foundation for this work,
including his research for a Kilpin exhibit at the Langley Centennial
Museum in fall 2001. Grants from the Museum Assistance Program helped
to conserve and frame many of these important works, and provide on-line
access to images of the works through the Langley Centennial Museum
website.
The cooperation of the descendants of Legh Mulhall Kilpin has contributed
significantly to this work, including members of the Mitchell, Rammell,
and Illsey families.
