Design Description

Bowl with Interlocking Ovals

This large bowl has a pattern that gives the impression of ovals that interlock by the means of a series of zig zag lines that flatten at the top and bottom. The upper zig zag line is imbricated with red, white and then black. This black weave then forms the top of the next series of lines that is black, white and then red. This red line then forms the top of a white and black line. When looking at the basket from the top down the series of solid lines is red, white, black, white, red, white and black.
